Argonauts Fall Short, 5-4, at Silver Lake
|
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Chan-ho Lim, the Silver Lake Baristas defeated the Astoria Argonauts, 5-4. Lim went 1-2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Baristas. Silver Lake, at 69-75, sits in 4th place in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division.
Lim contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Silver Lake in the bottom of the sixth. With his team trailing 4-1, Lim took a changeup from Ronald Lee and stroked the home run to left. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Baristas to leap in front, 5-4.
Lim told a Silver Lake Daily News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
