The Indian Wells Aeropostales scored a 4-3 win versus the Calgary Kodiaks at Stars Field. Indian Wells pitcher Phil Phillips nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. The Aeropostales bumped their record to 75-70 with this latest triumph.

Had Pat Triska not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Triska hit a 3-run home run. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Aeropostales.

After the game, Indian Wells manager Mario Perez applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
