Freeze Win in Extras
The Minneapolis Freeze eked out a 6-5 win versus the Bowling Green Racers at Top of the Hill. Nobody did more than pitcher Andrew Johnson, who captured player of the game honors. Esteban Sánchez notched his 1st save in 3 chances. The Freeze bumped their record to 79-63 with this latest triumph.

The Freeze got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Yen-nien Tong. For the game, Tong was 1-1 with a double. In the top of the tenth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 11th double of the season gave Minneapolis a 4-3 lead.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Tong told the Minneapolis Today.
