Buller 3-4 as Hornets Squeeze Past Mile High
Eureka beat Mile High at McNichols Stadium, escaping with a 8-7 win. The win in large part was due to first baseman Don Buller, who earned player of the game honors. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Alim bin Umar recorded his 10th save for Eureka. The Hornets bumped their record to 20-13 with this latest triumph.

Buller had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the first inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Hornets went on to win.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Buller.
