Raptors Win at Canton, 4-3

The Omaha Raptors eked out a 4-3 win versus the Canton Paczkis at Mckinley Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Andrés Hernández, who captured player of the game honors. Hernández went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 9-11. With the win, the Raptors have a record of 50-92.
The Raptors benefited from a costly error in the top of the sixth. With Gerardo Hernández at bat and Omaha leading 3-2, the Canton miscue allowed Omaha to plate 1 and take the lead, 4-2.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Hernández told the Omaha Times.
