Victory Over Canadians Takes Antioch to 98-45
Starting pitcher Lúcio Barrón pitched well enough to help the Antioch Coal Miners beat the Vancouver Canadians by the score of 4-3. Edgardo Sáenz converted his 14th save in 16 tries. Antioch goes to 98-45. The win puts them 15 games up in their division.

Waylon Swerdlow, who is tied for 7th in the DKL in runs scored with 88, helped out the Antioch cause in the top of the ninth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the catcher went 2 for 4 with a double.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Barrón.
