Vancouver and Peoria duked it out at Excavatar Park and the Canadians came out victorious.

Cai-fei Men never let Peoria get something going. The Vancouver right-hander commanded his splitter in pitching the Canadians to a 3-0 win. Men went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 3, and struck out 7. His record improves to 3-6. Philippe Vincent converted his 5th save in 5 tries.

Kiemon Matsunaga aided the Vancouver cause with a run-scoring triple in the top of the eighth. For the game, the catcher was 1-3 with a triple.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Men said.

The 5th-place Canadians now have a win-loss record of 66-74.
