Mustangs Bang Out 6-1 Win Versus Silver Lake
|
The Billings Mustangs picked up a win at Cobb Field, knocking off the Silver Lake Baristas, 6-1. Starting pitcher Luis Sánchez, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Mustangs bumped their record to 80-57 with this latest triumph.
Billings third baseman Jorge Hernández delivered a 2-run double in the bottom of the fourth. Overall, he went 3 for 4, including 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Hernández.
