The Flash had to overcome a good performance from Joplin pitcher Jacob Willard to claim a 3-2 win at The Firepit. Willard went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Royce Leveque, credited with the save, is now 4 for 7 in save opportunities. Fairfield's record now stands at 63-75, placing them 5th in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division.

Pablo Bermúdez made it 3-2, Fairfield, in the top of the 11th when he hit a sacrifice fly. It was a big at-bat in the Flash win.
