Raiders Continue Skid Thanks to St.john, Mustangs
|
Benefiting from Bill St.john's productive game, the Billings Mustangs downed the Reno Raiders, 4-3. St.john was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Mustangs. Tony Varela notched his 4th save in 5 chances. Reno, at 57-78, has lost 7 straight.
St.john had a key at-bat for Billings early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 20th home run of the season and gave Billings an early 2-0 lead.
