Reno starter Dave Garcia had a strong outing against the Indian Wells Aeropostales at Red Rocket Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 2-1 win. The Rockets bumped their record to 73-62 with this latest triumph.

The Rockets got a big at-bat from first baseman Yan Rossi. For the game, Rossi went 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Reno a 2-1 lead.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Rossi said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
