Indian Wells pitcher Todd Mullins did his part in helping his team beat the Bowling Green Racers, 2-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Kevin Spurr notched his 29th save in 32 chances. The Aeropostales bumped their record to 72-64 with this latest triumph.
Pat Triska, who is tied for 10th in the NAL in total bases with 209, contributed to the Indian Wells win with a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
