Cats Win at Silver Lake, 4-1
|
Fort Worth pitcher Mark Edwards did his part in helping his team beat the Silver Lake Baristas, 4-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Cats bumped their record to 73-62 with this latest triumph.
Shunen Kato aided the Fort Worth cause with a run-scoring triple in the top of the sixth. For the game, the designated hitter was 2-4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Silver Lake manager Diego Aguirre.
