The Pasadena Bumblebees got a stellar performance from pitcher Yeijiro Suzuki, who handcuffed the Bronx offense en route to a 6-0 win at The Hole. Suzuki, now 9-6, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 4, walking 0, and allowing no earned runs. The 5th-place Bumblebees are now 53-82, the Bombers 51-84.

Arturo Gallegos recorded a big out in the top of the seventh. Bronx was trailing 4-0. With two out and the bases loaded, Gallegos retired Curtis Downing when Downing grounded out.
