Mustangs Walk It Off for 76th Win of Season
The Billings Mustangs did just enough to secure a 9-8 victory over the Detroit Death Stars at Cobb Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Norberto Bianchi, who captured player of the game honors. The winner was Billings reliever Mike Foust, now 1-2. The loser was Tom Wilson. The Mustangs bumped their record to 76-55 with this latest triumph.

The Mustangs got a big at-bat from shortstop Manny Lugo. For the game, Lugo went 1 for 1 with a double. In the bottom of the tenth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 7th double of the season gave Billings a 9-8 lead.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Detroit manager Loren Garrison. "The effort was great."
