The Indian Wells Aeropostales beat the Reno Raiders, 6-4, at Stars Field. Indian Wells catcher Pat Triska earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 2-2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Maite Tadeo picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-2. Jorge Mota was tagged with the loss. Toshikasu Yoshida earned his 5th save in 8 chances.
Anthony Miller, who is rated as the 27th best prospect by BNN, chipped in for Indian Wells with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.
