It was a fun time at Red Rocket Field, where the Antioch Coal Miners and Reno Rockets tangled.

The Reno Rockets beat the Antioch Coal Miners, 5-3, at Red Rocket Field. The win was largely due to the efforts of third baseman Pat Hartley, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. Reno is now 71-60, Antioch 90-43.

Had José Tobías not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Tobías hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-3, in favor of the Rockets.

"We'll savor this win," Hartley told the Reno News, "then get ready for the next game."
