The Canton Paczkis and Bronx Bombers obliged those fans who came to Mckinley Park hoping for an exciting game.

Despite a great performance by Bronx third baseman Brenden Cheatham, the Canton Paczkis defeated the Bombers by the score of 7-6 at Mckinley Park. Cheatham went 3-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Canton reliever Tom Cropper picked up the win to move to 2-0. Steve Misiak suffered the loss.

Juan Politti, who is tied for 8th in the NAL in hits with 133, aided the Canton cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the ninth. For the game, the right fielder went 2 for 5 with 2 singles, while scoring 2 times.

"We'll try to build on that win," Politti told the Canton Today.

At 57-75, Canton is in last place in the Nick Adenhart League Bobby Cox Division.
