Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Satomi Takano, the Astoria Argonauts defeated the Fort Worth Cats, 3-2. Takano was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs for the Argonauts. With the win, Astoria has a record of 71-59. Fort Worth falls to 71-57.

Takano had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch sinker from José Trevino, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the Argonauts a 3-2 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Takano.

Takano told a Astoria Herald reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
