The Bloomington Blazers defeated the Portland Beavers, 5-0, in Thurman Munson League action at Arson Arena, with Bloomington pitcher Salah bin Atif named player of the game. bin Atif, now 2-4, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 8, walking 3, and allowing no earned runs. The Beavers fall to 13-17 and continue their uneven start to the 2034 season.
The Bloomington dugout showed signs of unrest at times. But the Blazers put this one in the win column with some good pitching and some timely hitting at critical moments.
