Behind a solid performance from catcher David Giese, the Peoria Caterpillars defeated the Canton Paczkis, 6-4. Giese was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times for the Caterpillars. Carlos Alonzo was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 4 save opportunities.
