Pérez Lifts Mustangs to 9-7 Triumph
Billings right fielder Pedro Pérez had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 9-7. Billings reliever Dylan Wilson picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Phil Phillips absorbed the loss. The Mustangs bumped their record to 72-53 with this latest triumph.

Pérez contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Billings in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 5-4, Pérez took a fastball from Phil Phillips and stroked the home run to left. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Mustangs to leap in front, 7-5.

"Feels good to get the job done," Pérez said after the game.
