Victory Pushes Aeropostales Record to 67-59
|
Indian Wells starter You-liang Rang pitched effectively against the Canton Paczkis at Mckinley Park. The left-hander led his team to a 5-1 win. The winner was Indian Wells reliever Chung Chio, now 1-2. The loser was Cory Kieck. Kevin Spurr notched his 26th save in 29 chances.
Hsui-chen Shui hit a run-scoring triple off Cory Kieck in the top of the ninth, which put the Aeropostales in front, 2-1. Shui had 2 singles, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 3 for 4.
"We take it day by day here," said Rang, "and today was a good one for us."
