Bombers Topple Caterpillars with Late Rally
The Bronx Bombers topped the Peoria Caterpillars, 11-10, with shortstop Jim Willard playing a big role. Willard went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times for the Bombers in the win. The Bombers saw their record improve to 47-79.

Mark Bowden was the walk-off hero for Bronx. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bombers pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Bowden.
