Raptors Bang Out 12-9 Win Versus Pasadena
The Omaha Raptors defeated the Pasadena Bumblebees, 12-9, in Darryl Kile League action at Anchorage Municipal Stadium, with Omaha third baseman Wilfred Bray named player of the game. Michael Walsh, who went 7.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 10 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 10-9. Jason Engel was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 6 of 9 save opportunities.

The Raptors got a big at-bat from shortstop Hisamitsu Kondo. For the game, Kondo was 1-5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 20th home run of the season gave Omaha a 2-0 lead.
