The Minneapolis Freeze defeated the Reno Raiders, 4-1, in Darryl Kile League action at House of Pain, with Minneapolis pitcher Dave Sherrill named player of the game. The third-place Freeze are now 65-59, the Raiders 54-69.

Santiago Sierra hit a 2-run double off Raúl Lugo in the top of the fifth, which put the Freeze in front, 3-1. In addition to the double, Sierra had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Sherrill.
