Detroit third baseman Jorge García played a vital role in his team's 5-4 triumph over Omaha. He went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Detroit. The Death Stars bumped their record to 66-57 with this latest triumph.

Baber Khan was the walk-off hero for Detroit. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Death Stars left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Khan, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
