Chicago third baseman Andy Richards was sensational. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Reno beat the Titans, 5-3. Richards was named the player of the game despite the loss. Reno has run its win streak to 4 in a row.

With one out in the bottom of the fifth, Enrique Gomez stroked a go-ahead run-scoring single. It was his 69th hit of the season and put Reno in front, 3-2.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Gomez told the Reno News.
