The Indian Wells Aeropostales topped the Fort Worth Cats, 9-6, in Nick Adenhart League action at Stars Field. The player of the game was Indian Wells right fielder Pat Pittman. Reliever Ron Robinson picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Mark Edwards took the loss. Kevin Spurr notched his 25th save in 28 chances.

Pittman put Indian Wells up, 7-0, when he hit a 3-run home run off Bobby Saxon in the bottom of the fourth. His 17th home run of the season helped the Aeropostales capture the win.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Pittman told the Indian Wells Daily.

The Aeropostales bumped their record to 65-57 with this latest triumph.
