The Bowling Green Racers topped the Espanola Bomberos, 15-4, with catcher Ramón Medina playing a big role. Medina went 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Racers in the win. Masamichi Takeda converted his 1st save in 3 tries. The Racers bumped their record to 66-56 with this latest triumph.

Medina had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the first inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Racers went on to win.
