Rockets Get One-Run Win at Fairfield
The Fairfield Flash got a sterling performance from pitcher Bi`nh Trieu, but the Rockets still prevailed, 5-4. Trieu was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball. Harsha Majoo converted his 13th save in 15 tries. Fairfield has now lost 4 straight.

Reno used the timely hitting of Pat Hartley to capture the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rockets on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but he made it count.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Fairfield manager Gary Altman said following the tough loss.
