Hops Lose to Bombers, 4-1

Despite the rain, the fans at Bomber Ballpark enjoyed a good ballgame.
The South Carolina Bombers defeated the San Diego Hops, 4-1, in Thurman Munson League action at Bomber Ballpark, with South Carolina pitcher Vincenzo Rizzoli named player of the game. Rizzoli went 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 2-0.
San Diego had runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the sixth. With two out, Ross Bullmore came to bat, hoping to do some damage. Instead, he grounded out. The score remained 3-1, South Carolina. The Hops saw their comeback bid fail.
The Hops drop to 9-20 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2034 season.
