Enrique Gomez helped his team muscle past the Bowling Green Racers, 8-4. In the game, the Reno catcher went 3-4 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 times. Reno reliever Manuel Martínez picked up the win, bumping his record to 4-0. Alain Picard was collared with the loss. Harsha Majoo was credited with the save. Gomez had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Rockets went on to win.
