The Fort Worth Cats topped the Vancouver Canadians, 5-2, in Nick Adenhart League action at Stanley Park. The player of the game was Fort Worth pitcher Bobby Saxon. Fort Worth reliever Bobby Saxon got the win, raising his record to 3-0. Wilson Polk was tagged with the loss. Everton Mailes was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 28 of 31 save opportunities.

Chris Schmidt helped out the Fort Worth cause in the top of the second inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the second baseman drove in one run.
