The Antioch Coal Miners got production from their entire lineup in an easy 19-3 win over the Bronx Bombers. Player of the game honors went to first baseman Scott McFarland. McFarland contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Antioch in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 2-0, McFarland took a fastball from Arslan Halit and stroked the home run to right. His 21st home run of the season allowed the Coal Miners to leap in front, 3-2.
