Stogies Raise Rally Flag, Beat Georgia, 1-0
The Havana Stogies picked up a win at The Death Star, knocking off the Georgia Grays, 1-0. On the mound for Havana was left-hander Peter Miner, who played a pivotal role in the win. The win was credited to Ti-an Dan in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Matt Comrie took the loss. Felipe Arreola closed the game out for Havana, earning his 1st save.

The Stogies got a big at-bat from third baseman Nobutsugu Yamaguchi. For the game, Yamaguchi was 2 for 4 with a double. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 23rd hit of the season gave Havana a 1-0 lead.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Yamaguchi said.

The win brings the Stogies to 21-7, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
