Sasquatch Lose to Tornadoes, 5-3
|
It was a good time at Debris Field, where fans came to watch the Seattle Sasquatch and Kansas City Tornadoes get after it.
The Kansas City Tornadoes defeated the Seattle Sasquatch, 5-3, in Thurman Munson League action at Debris Field, with Kansas City pitcher António Medrano named player of the game. Medrano went 5 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 0, and struck out 3. His record improves to 1-1. Tomoyuki Kiyomizu closed the game out for Kansas City, earning his 8th save.
Early in the game, third baseman Stewart Gee had a grand slam home run for Kansas City. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Tornadoes on top, 4-1.
Gee told a Kansas City Times reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
The Sasquatch drop to 13-15 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2034 season.
