Kim, Raiders Beat Death Stars, 12-6
|
Reno played host to Detroit at the friendly confines of House of Pain.
Tae-kyun Kim made an impact in the 12-6 Reno win over Detroit. Kim went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Reno is 4th in the Darryl Kile League Joe Torre Division with a record of 50-61.
Kim had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Raiders went on to win.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Reno manager Chris Brading.
