Cacti Squelch Aeropostales Offense in Shutout Win
Albuquerque Cacti starter Kanichi Kaneshiro turned in a top-notch performance against the Indian Wells Aeropostales at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. The result was a win for the Cacti, 3-0. The Cacti, at 64-50, lead by one game in their division.

The Cacti got a big at-bat from shortstop Sergio Pérez. For the game, Pérez went 1-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 6th double of the season gave Albuquerque a 2-0 lead.

"I like what I saw today," said Albuquerque manager Tom Robertson, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
