The Canton Paczkis downed the Reno Rockets, 4-1, at Mckinley Park. The Paczkis were led by Mitsukuni Hamaguchi, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 4 with a home run. Nobuatsu Samurakami, credited with the win, is now 1-1. He allowed no runs on 5 hits in 3 innings.
