Canadians Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
With designated hitter José Rodríguez leading the charge, the Vancouver Canadians defeated the Bowling Green Racers, 9-5, at Top of the Hill. Rodríguez, who was drafted in the two round of the 2026 draft, was 2-6 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The win was Andy Ryan's in relief. His record improves to 3-3. Nelson Cardona took the loss for Bowling Green. With the win, the Canadians have a record of 47-62.

The Canadians got a big at-bat from third baseman Ignacio Ochoa. For the game, Ochoa was 1 for 1. In the top of the tenth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 88th hit of the season gave Vancouver a 6-5 lead.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Ochoa.
