The Coronado Phantoms defeated the Espanola Bomberos, 5-3, in Nick Adenhart League action at Phantoms Field, with Coronado designated hitter Giampaolo Marcovicci named player of the game. Luis Ramírez got the win, improving to 9-8. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 8 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 2. The Phantoms bumped their record to 56-52 with this latest triumph.
