The Peoria Caterpillars got a superb performance from pitcher Jim Leclair. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Reno. The Raiders won the game, 4-1. In spite of the loss, Leclair was named the player of the game. He threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball. Diego Contreras got credit for the win, improving to 3-3. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. Jay Casbeer earned his 3rd save in 3 chances.

Late-game drama came in the top of the ninth inning. With no one out and the bases empty, the batter, Matsudaira Sato, hit a single. It helped Reno seize the win.

Sato called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

The Raiders raised their record to 48-60.
