The Fort Worth Cats knocked off the Reno Rockets, 9-4, at LaGrave Field. Carlos Torres was named player of the game for Fort Worth. He produced 2 singles and 1 double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Fort Worth reliever Jesús Féliz picked up the win, upping his record to 11-1. Evan Charnley took the loss. The Cats bumped their record to 59-49 with this latest triumph.

The Cats got a big at-bat from designated hitter Shunen Kato. For the game, Kato was 3 for 4 with 3 singles. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 48th hit of the season gave Fort Worth a 5-4 lead.
