The Antioch Coal Miners defeated the Omaha Raptors, 9-4, at Anchorage Municipal Stadium today. Leading the charge for Antioch was first baseman Scott McFarland. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The Coal Miners have an impressive 71-38 record.

McFarland had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the third, when he hit a grand slam. The Coal Miners went on to win.
