Cacti Roll to 8-2 Win Over Baristas

Chris Hillier left his imprint on the 8-2 Albuquerque win against the Silver Lake Baristas. Hillier, who is tied for 7th in the NAL in triples with 4, went 2 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Albuquerque reliever Mario Deleón picked up the win, upping his record to 8-2. Vincent Bethea was saddled with the loss. The Cacti bumped their record to 60-49 with this latest triumph.
Hillier had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the sixth inning, when he hit a run-scoring triple. The Cacti went on to win.
"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Hillier. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
