Getting a good performance from left fielder John Huot, the Detroit Death Stars defeated the Peoria Caterpillars, 6-4. Huot went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Death Stars. The win was credited to Dongdo-pa Chen in relief. His record improves to 5-1. Adam Stickells took the loss. Detroit is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Huot had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch fastball from Adam Stickells, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Death Stars a 6-4 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Huot.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Huot.
