The Canton Paczkis went down to defeat to Alain Picard and his Bowling Green teammates. The final score was 2-1 in favor of the Racers. Picard picked up the win for Bowling Green, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 5-4. Nelson Cardona notched his 4th save in 4 chances.
Had Hideaki Fujita not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Fujita hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Racers.
