The Indian Wells Aeropostales topped the Fairfield Flash by the score of 7-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Pat Pittman. Pittman was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Aeropostales on the day. John Faivre got the win, improving to 7-4. He worked 5.2 innings, giving up 2 runs on 3 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 5. Rick Childress notched his 1st save in 1 chances.

Pittman had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Aeropostales went on to win.

"I thought we played a nice game," Pittman told the Indian Wells Daily. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."

The Aeropostales bumped their record to 56-47 with this latest triumph.
