Suzuki goes 4-for-4 as Coal Miners Squeeze Past Joplin
The Antioch Coal Miners topped the Joplin Fireballs by the score of 6-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Tatsuhito Suzuki. Suzuki was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Coal Miners on the day. Edgardo Sáenz notched his 5th save in 6 chances. Antioch now has a 3-game win streak.

Suzuki had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-1 fastball from Carlos Mendoza, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Coal Miners a 6-5 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Suzuki.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Suzuki told the Antioch News.
